Jennifer Richards, owner of Poway Pilates, is a Certified Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer. She received her Pilates certification from Kore Pilates in La Jolla, Ca and currently holds a personal training certification with ACE (American Council on Exercise). Jennifer is a recognized expert in post rehabilitative exercise and has years of experience working with clients who struggle with arthritis, chronic low back pain and shoulder injuries. She is a member of the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), a national organization dedicated to insuring the safety of the public by making sure instructors are comprehensively trained and qualified to teach Pilates. She is also a member of (IDEA) Health and Fitness Association. Her unique style has made her a favorite among her students and clients. Jennifer currently teaches traditional Pilates, Strength Training, Core Training as well as Physical Rehabilitation to the traditional Pilates mix. Jennifer has taught traditional Pilates and Pilates Mat Classes for over 10 years. Jennifer attends many fitness workshops and conventions annually to maintain her cutting edge fitness style and certifications. She has recently completed her certification with the Booty Barre Method and will be incorporating this new element of fitness to her studio starting in Jan 2012. In her free time Jennifer enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, healthy cooking, efficient kettlebell workouts, and spending precious time with her family and friends.
